Marketing Coordinator

Streetlight is seeking an emerging digital professional to support our direct response fundraising team. This role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of experience who is either early in their career or transitioning from nonprofit work to the agency side. The Marketing Coordinator will play a key supporting role in fundraising and marketing communications across multiple clients, working both behind the scenes on campaign execution and platform management, and will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with clients alongside direct response strategists. This position offers the chance to broaden your experience across diverse organizations while learning the strategic and operational aspects of nonprofit fundraising in a fast-paced agency environment.

Responsibilities in this Role:

  • Support strategists in executing content strategies that align with clients' overall marketing and fundraising goals

  • Assist with research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience insights to inform campaign development

  • Coordinate with cross-functional team members, including writers, designers, advertising strategists, and technical resources, to support campaign execution

  • Help manage the day-to-day operations of direct response fundraising platforms, including email, sms, and donation campaign setup, audience management, testing, and deployment

  • Support the implementation of online fundraising strategies across multiple channels (email, text, social media)

  • Build and manage audiences, conduct A/B tests, and ensure quality control for all communications before deployment

  • Track campaign performance metrics and assist with reporting on fundraising and marketing results

  • Stay current on industry developments, platform updates, and best practices in nonprofit fundraising

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in digital communications, marketing, or fundraising (nonprofit experience preferred but not required)

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or related field

  • Strong writing skills with attention to detail and ability to adapt tone for different audiences

  • Familiarity with email marketing and/or fundraising concepts

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing metrics and campaign performance measurement

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

  • Self-motivated with strong follow-through and a sense of urgency

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with excellent communication skills

  • Experience with marketing automation or fundraising platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, Blackbaud Luminate, Classy, Fundraise Up, etc.) is a plus

  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and eagerness to learn

Graphic Designer

Streetlight Digital is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer who is creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative. This individual will report to the Design Manager and will be responsible for developing high-quality digital design assets across a variety of platforms, including digital ads, websites, and email. The ideal candidate has a strong background in digital marketing, agency experience, and a portfolio that demonstrates versatility across digital media deliverables. 

Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the Graphic Designer will take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that meets the goals of the project. Success in this role requires a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, creative vision, and the ability to deliver high-quality deliverables across multiple projects and clients on deadline in a fast-paced, fully remote agency environment.

Responsibilities in this Role

  • Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with strategists and teams to develop cohesive visual concepts that apply across full campaigns including a wide range of materials that may include assets for web and emails, social and digital ads, presentations, and motion graphics 

  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality design from concept to execution within an established brand identity while honoring client brand standards, technical specifications, and project goals

  • Work independently and cross-functionally to manage multiple design projects across a range of clients while coordinating with project and production managers to schedule and prioritize work

  • Identify and propose improvements to existing design processes and workflows

  • Implement feedback from key stakeholders, including internal team members and client representatives, to ensure the design deliverables meet shared goals

  • Maintain internal design, photography, and video asset libraries

  • Stay current on design trends, tools, and best practices in digital design

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of industry experience in digital marketing design

  • Demonstrated experience working in digital marketing, including design for email,  ads (social and banner/display ads), websites, and motion graphics

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Mastery of design software, including InDesign, Illustrator, Figma, Photoshop, Canva, video editing software

  • Demonstrated experience of designing for web and a mobile-first approach

  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Desire to continue building skill set with education and training

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with motion graphics, including animation and video editing a plus

  • Familiarity with Teamraiser, Classy, DonorDrive a plus

  • Familiarity with Marketing/Advertising platforms a plus

  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field a plus

  • Experience working with GSuite products a plus

  • Interactive ad development skills, including the use of HTML5 a plus

Email Developer

Streetlight Digital seeks an experienced Email Developer to join our fully remote team of talented and collaborative individuals. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in digital marketing execution and will be responsible for increasing email marketing success by coding, testing, and scheduling email communications across multiple platforms. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver high-quality work.

Objectives of this role

  • Build high-quality, responsive HTML emails that render consistently across major clients, devices, and user preferences (e.g., dark mode).

  • Convert copy and assets into accessible and well-branded email layouts—ranging from simple to complex—using best practices.

  • Execute email campaigns with a strong focus on segmentation, suppression, testing protocols, and technical accuracy.

  • Collaborate with teammates to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance campaign performance.

  • Build and schedule emails in nonprofit-focused platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Luminate Online, and Donor Drive.

  • Quickly learn and adapt to new CRM and marketing platforms in the nonprofit space.

  • Maintain documentation and assist with ongoing audience list and data hygiene tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Code and modify emails using HTML/CSS, WYSIWYG tools, and dynamic content blocks.

  • Build and manage email templates and journeys within platforms such as SFMC, TeamRaiser, Donor Drive, Constant Contact, and Luminate Online.

  • Ensure consistent rendering across devices, browsers, and email clients.

  • Apply email best practices, compliance standards, and accessibility guidelines.

  • Set up and launch email and SMS campaigns, including dynamic content and audience-triggered variants.

  • Validate campaign readiness with quality assurance and troubleshoot rendering or code-related issues.

  • Maintain accurate tracking parameters and suppression list logic.

  • Support platform-level maintenance and audience/automation updates as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Professional experience in email development and execution

  • Advanced HTML/CSS; strong understanding of responsive email design

  • Familiarity with SFMC (Email Studio, Journey Builder) and nonprofit marketing platforms like Donor Drive and Luminate Online

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

  • Up-to-date knowledge of email trends, platforms, and compliance best practices

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of AMPscript, Liquid, and Luminate S-Tags

  • Experience with email automation, journey configuration, and engagement-based triggers

  • Familiarity with data-driven testing, reporting, and optimization workflows
