Strategist, Direct Response

Streetlight is seeking a digital strategist, specializing in direct response fundraising who is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive individual giving strategies to drive fundraising initiatives and marketing efforts for organizations, ensuring sustainable growth and support for their missions. They will create targeted campaigns that cultivate donor relationships, maximize fundraising strategies, and ensure effective communication to support the organization's mission and goals.

The ideal candidate has had experience working within the nonprofit industry with success in fundraising and digital marketing and has an affinity for working with multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities in this Role:

  • Collaborate with the client team to create and implement a content strategy that aligns with the overall marketing and brand strategy.

  • Research industry trends, competitor activities, and target audience preferences to inform content creation and distribution plans.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members such as writers, designers, advertising strategists, and technical resources to generate engaging digital campaigns for clients.

  • Stays abreast of industry developments to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skills necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities, including changes in regulations, technology, and best practices

  • Develop and implement online fundraising strategies, including managing the client’s communications plan (email, text, social) and aligning it with the paid advertising flight plan.

  • Actively use direct response fundraising platforms, especially for, but not limited to, developing email campaigns; creating, testing, and validating audiences; testing, sending; tracking, and assessing emails.

  • Report on fundraising and marketing performance, presenting insights and recommendations to improve strategies and campaigns.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a digital communications and/or fundraising role within the nonprofit industry

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications or Marketing

  • Excellent writer able to draft nuanced communications on a variety of topics

  • Experience working on a direct response/individual giving program 

  • Familiarity with digital direct response marketing strategy and tactics, and how to measure the impact of various channels and campaigns

  • Can simultaneously execute multiple, overlapping projects

  • Drives for results – makes things happen and conveys a sense of urgency

  • Ability to self-manage and communicate effectively with management and contractors across a remote work environment

  • Experience with marketing and fundraising technology platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, Blackbaud Luminate, Classy, Fundraise Up, etc. 

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including working with people from various business areas; builds and maintains highly effective working relationships.

Digital Advertising Coordinator

Streetlight is seeking an experienced Digital Advertising Coordinator to provide support to our Digital Advertising team in propelling the success of fundraising programs at some of the most prestigious nonprofit organizations in this country forward. The Coordinator will engage with the team to assist in executing a range of digital fundraising, advertising, and operational activities as well as to provide analytical and reporting support that is critical to the team’s success.

Your work will impact the missions that support kids with cancer, veterans, individuals with life-threatening and life-altering diseases and so many more.

Responsibilities in this Role:

  • Support Digital Ads team with in-platform ad setup and optimization.

  • Assist in improving paid media tactical planning across all platforms, such as Google, Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok.

  • Assist Digital team on tasks and duties to ensure campaign success as measured through campaign and program-specific KPIs; routine communication directly with team or stakeholders to keep them informed of campaign performance.

  • Reporting on how ad accounts pace according to budget and goals

  • Partner with Digital team staff to create reporting for cross-functional teams including topline and wrap-up reports for completed ad campaigns across channels

  • Support Digital team research and pilot programs to expand and diversify client’s advertising reach on new social media/emerging digital platforms such as TikTok and Pinterest through identification and piloting of new platforms, collaborating with Digital Strategists and Technologists where appropriate

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook/Meta Ads manager campaign management and running conversion/lead generation ads: set up, activation, optimization, and reporting.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and familiarity with principles of statistical analysis to create and analyze campaign performance reports for ongoing campaign optimization.

  • Commitment to work collaboratively and respectfully toward resolving obstacles and/or conflicts.

  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills

  • Basic digital graphic design skills and use of Canva

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Project Manager

Streetlight is seeking an experienced Project Manager who’s organized, calm under pressure, and able to adapt quickly in an ever-changing, remote work environment. They will be responsible for planning and managing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. The ideal candidate holds marketing-related agency experience and can work effectively in managing multiple projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities in this Role:

  • Create and manage project plans from ideation to execution utilizing the PM software and other tools to ensure project goals are met within the agreed-upon timeline and budget

  • Collaborate with the lead strategist and team to drive the direction of meetings, manage agendas and deliverables, and communicate project updates consistently to the internal team and client on strategy, adjustments, recommendations, roadblocks, and progress to ensure team actions remain in synergy

  • Oversee internal and client-facing documents, spreadsheets, folders, and overall organization of related files

  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution

  • Identify and manage potential risks and opportunities of multiple projects, monitor progress, and adjust as needed

  • Collaborate to ensure projects are operating within SLD processes and systems and contribute in a solutions-based style to improve overall efficiency and productivity

  • Able to support staff training of project management processes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in a digital marketing agency project and account management and managing large projects across multiple stakeholders 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, responsive with closed-loop communication with a strategic mindset

  • Ability to build relationships of trust and confidence with clients and colleagues

  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools (Asana), methodologies, and best practices

  • Excellent analytical skills and highly organized with attention to detail

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

  • Passion for nonprofits, storytelling, and making things happen

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification

  • Agency experience managing multiple clients and working with diverse client teams 

  • Nonprofit marketing experience working with donation platforms

  • Solution-oriented in a startup or agency environment

  • Strong working knowledge of Google Suite

  • Experience with digital marketing, online advertising, email marketing, website development projects and the associated services

Digital Advertising Strategist

Streetlight Digital is seeking a Digital Advertising Strategist to play a pivotal role in elevating the achievements of fundraising initiatives for some of the most well-known nonprofit organizations across the country. The Ad Strategist will be part of our agency’s growing Digital Advertising team and will contribute to the execution of diverse digital fundraising, advertising, and operational tasks. Additionally, the role involves providing essential analytical and reporting support. The ideal candidate should seamlessly navigate leading client interactions and contribute to high-level digital advertising strategies, all while demonstrating proficiency in hands-on, in-platform execution and production work.

The responsibilities of this position will directly influence and contribute to the advancement of causes supporting various communities, including but not limited to children battling cancer, veterans, and individuals facing life-threatening and life-altering diseases. Responsibilities in this role:

  • Develop multi-channel ad flight plans, including budget recommendations for client media spends ranging from $25K to $500K, annually

  • Support agency client teams to ensure campaign success as measured through campaign and program-specific KPIs

  • Engage in routine communications directly with team and client stakeholders to keep them informed of campaign performance and support cross-functional reporting, including campaign wrap reports and quarterly business review presentations

  • Manage, review, and perform daily account responsibilities associated with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and other advertising platforms for a variety of clients – including in-platform ad setup and optimization.

  • Initiate research and suggest pilot programs to expand and diversify client’s advertising reach on new social media/emerging digital platforms such as TikTok and Pinterest through identification and piloting of new platforms, collaborating with agency Communication Strategists and Technologists where appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • No less than 3 years of experience in paid advertising (search, social, video and display)  

  • Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook/Meta Ads manager campaign management and running conversion/lead generation ads: set up, activation, optimization, and reporting.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and familiarity with principles of statistical analysis to create and analyze campaign performance reports for ongoing campaign optimization.
