Nonprofit Technologist/Developer

Streetlight Digital is seeking an experienced nonprofit technologist/developer with expertise in nonprofit technology platforms to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Blackbaud products, including TeamRaiser and Luminate Online, expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and knowledge of DonorDrive, Classy, Engaging Networks, and other modern web development technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain custom solutions integrating with Blackbaud ecosystem, including TeamRaiser and Luminate Online

  • Build responsive, user-friendly web applications and fundraising pages

  • Create and optimize API integrations between various platforms

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions

  • Debug and optimize existing applications

  • Ensure security and compliance with nonprofit data handling requirements

Proven experience with:

  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery

  • JavaScript frameworks (Required: Angular; optional: React or Vue)

  • PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails

  • REST APIs

  • SQL and database management

  • Git version control

  • Responsive design principles

  • AWS or Azure cloud services

  • Agile development methodologies

  • TeamRaiser API and customization

  • Luminate Online Marketing and fundraising tools

  • CRM integrations

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Nonprofit sector experience

  • Certification in Blackbaud products

  • 4+ years of full-stack development experience

  • Strong understanding of nonprofit fundraising processes and donor management

  • Experience with peer-to-peer fundraising platforms

  • Knowledge of payment processing and PCI compliance

  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff

Benefits Offered to Full-Time Employees:

Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000 with bonus potential
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Location: This is a remote position. Only applicants located in the following states will be considered: Arizona, Colorado, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington D.C.
